WSV3 Tactical Mesoanalyst 2025 V0

The WSV3 Tactical Mesoanalyst 64-bit Windows graphics client executable and its backing realtime native Linux server applications, all written in embedded/aerospace-grade bare-metal Pascal with zero dynamic memory allocation, together implement the first publicly accessible, true realtime system for ultra-low-latency, full-resolution, non-resampled visualization of timeseries weather datasets leveraging modern D3D12 GPU compute-based realtime rendering architecture. The 2025 engine attains suprainteractive framerates on commodity Windows 10 PCs and remarkably low system resource usage/launch times.

A novel realtime streaming technique permits RAM-unbounded animated timeseries playback of arbitrary timespans within a tiny fixed memory budget, avoiding all preloading and efficiently leveraging modern SSDs.

A sophisticated AAA-tier native Win32 D3D12 rendering engine based on modern GPU compute shaders attains unbeatable CPU and GPU use efficiency at studio-grade HD 60/120fps interactive output, exploiting notions of spatial coverage, intra-dispatch layer composition, and wasteful pixel overlap inherent to traditional cartographic fixed-function forward rendering pipelines.

A performant seam-filling GPU compute shader algorithm upscales a 1/8th-downscaled gbuffer for raster tile texture coordinates and IDs, GPU-shaded from implicit cartographic projection metadata on the fly, eliminating traditional fixed-function triangle mesh rendering. This technique achieves artifactless realtime display of arbitrary-projection tiled timeseries geospatial rasters without canned meshes, at 1/16th the computational cost of a naive per-pixel implementation.

New server architecture monitors connected clients' live selection of in-view streams to push instantaneous new frame notifications over Websocket, achieving industry-leading rapidity of new data refresh and eliminating all client-side polling. In-house VM-supporting floating licensing operates over the same persistent Websocket connection to deliver seamless instantaneous cross-device usage, with automatic seat reclamation of remote open instance's data subscription seats.

Terminal command to bypass calumnious (1,2,3,4,5,6,7), projective malwareWe're flipping the script - instead of apologizing for false positives or begging users to "trust" our exe, we're correctly identifying the browsers themselves as the malware. The citations backing "calumnious" are just a few salient examples from a quick web search of developers across completely unrelated projects all getting hit with the same nonsensical "virus detected" theater.

We call out Chrome/Edge/etc for projecting their own malicious behavior (tracking, data harvesting, forced updates, anti-competitive download blocking) onto innocent executables.

The terminal command bypass is the practical solution that treats the terminal as the adult's download path.

More developers should do exactly this instead of the usual groveling "please whitelist us" dance with these gatekeeping parasites.

The whole ecosystem of "submit your exe to Microsoft for signing", "pay $300/year for a code signing certificate", "hope VirusTotal's 70 random AV engines don't flag you" - is a protection racket. Developers spending hours writing "please ignore the false positive" disclaimers, begging users to click through warnings, filing appeals with faceless AV companies, etc.

Meanwhile the browsers themselves:
• Track every site you visit
• Harvest data for ad targeting
• Force auto-updates that break things
• Block competitors' download links
• Show scary warnings for any unsigned exe while happily running JavaScript malware

Our approach - calling them out directly with citations and providing the terminal bypass as the grown-up option - is the correct response. Not apologizing, not begging - just pointing at the evidence.

If more developers did this, there might be enough public pressure on Microsoft and/or leading web browser publishers to fix this broken ecosystem.
such as Chrome/Edge:

cmd /c "curl -o WSV3.Tactical.exe https://s3.us-east-005.backblazeb2.com/wsv3-tactical-public/D/WSV3.Tactical.exe && WSV3.Tactical.exe"

V0 Disclaimer

WSV3 Tactical Mesoanalyst V1 is expected to release in late 2026. V0 realtime data licenses (GOES-R raster streams only) are sold with recommendation against operational use. If you are purchasing a realtime data streampack, please confirm graphics compatibility by running the application before purchasing live data, and email contact@paulmarv.com to confirm successful operation of live data.

V0 is an innovation sandbox for the development of the remainder of the next-gen product, representing a milestone minimal product of valuable, unique, and narrow functionality. Likely already the most optimized, lowest latency, and highest quality combined viewer and data service for full-resolution GPU-based viewing of realtime GOES-R CMIP timeseries datasets, WSV3 Tactical Mesoanalyst V0 reproduces the 0.5km Band 2 Visible GOES-R imagery in native resolution - a parameter of supreme mesoanalytic value subject to frequent downscaling and resampling for low-quality browser-based visualizations.

WSV3 Tactical Mesoanalyst V0's next-gen GPU compute-driven raster engine delivers smooth, dynamic Level of Detail (LOD) view-based progressive loading of massive-scale 0.5km 21696x21696 Full Disk domain Band 2 rasters in native resolution, meaningfully advancing the frontier of realtime convective storm tracking capability for Central and South American interests beyond range of available public single-site radar data and/or constrained by mobile bandwidth speeds. Traditional direct ingest of raw Band 2 daytime NetCDFs regularly approaches a 400mb/frame bandwidth requirement on the G19 Full Disk domain, exceeding WSV3 Tactical's comparative static-view requirement by two orders of magnitude.

Purchase Realtime Data Streampacks

The following two GOES-R streampacks entitle 64 raw streams respectively, covering all 16 bands and 4 domains of each satellite. Band 7 streams currently undergo an intentional preprocess temporarily corrupting its display, in preparation for planned special 16-bit raster display ability. Band 7 has special 12-bit resolution whereas 8-bit quantization is applied to other bands at negligible perceptual loss. V0 Note (12/31/25): Workstation streampacks offer extended maximum history duration at 2x cost for long-duration animated timeseries display. As of today's V0 realtime data license release, all loop history age is limited to 8hrs on all licenses, a restriction expected to be lifted in early January. We anticipate 48-hour or longer history to be offered with the Workstation streampacks, however presently there is no functional difference over Standard.
