WSV3 2027 / Media Licenses
Publication of rendered output: Output bearing the WSV3 watermark may be published by any means other than television broadcast, free of charge, at any Audience size and for any purpose, including advertising-supported, sponsored, and subscription-funded channels, streams, and pages. We never impose any revenue test, commercial-use clause, or audit. Build a media business on WSV3 output; provided the watermark remains in the corner, nothing further is owed beyond the Data Pack subscription.
A Media License is required only to publish output with the watermark removed, priced by Audience, defined as followers or subscribers on the largest single channel where the output appears (trailing twelve-month average), or monthly unique visitors for websites. Live streams on the publisher's own channels, including continuous 24-hour streams and simultaneous streams to several platforms, are publication, not television broadcast. A publisher whose Audience grows beyond its level has thirty days to upgrade and is never in breach for growing. We never ask to see revenue. Television broadcast: Over-the-air, cable, satellite, and IPTV programming, any use by a television station, network, or affiliate (including its internet distribution), and programming carried by a third-party streaming television distributor, such as a free ad-supported or connected-TV channel service, require a Television Broadcast license whether or not the watermark is present. Television Broadcast licenses are per station and banded by DMA rank; group and network agreements are available.
